What exactly do you believe God created us for?

I'm writing a paper, and I just wanted to see people's ideas about this. I'm looking for Evangelical views in particular, but I encourage anyone to post what they believe. Please refrain from too much "fire and brimstone" stuff too. I'm well aware of those kinds of views. Let's focus on the positive here. Thank you!
