I have a power inverter that draws ~23A at 12VDC from my car battery, and it steps it up to 120VAC at 300W. I need to wire it from my battery all the way to the back of my truck, it's a Bronco II so it's not incredibly long. Let's say I need 15 feet of wire. I don't have 10AWG wire which is required to pull such a current, but I do have enough 12AWG wire to run the route twice. Is it possible to split the current across the 2 wires if I connect them in parallel?
