I'm in a debate. I need supporting Propostion info. The topic: "TV is a bad influence". Any help?

Sorry i dont have links for this or anything...but i know from personal experience with watching TV that they are getting away with alot more ually oriented shows today such as Niptuck or and the City. What really bugged me is how I think they put messages in even kid shows that most people wouldnt catch. Just the other day i was watching full house and it was a b-day party scene and Joey comes out of nowhere and says that theres gonna be a party in his pants. Me being 18 i laughed but i dont think little kids should be watching that even tho they may not know what it means.
