Is placing potato in salt water solutions going to be diffusion or osmosis?

I'm really confused. If I place a potato cube in a 5% salt solution, 10% salt solution, and distilled water, the potatos will lose m, whereas the water gained m. Which would it be, diffusion or osmosis?
