Do people who oppose Obama have no clue why we have so much debt right now?

We're in debt because our government is trying the same things that Hoover and Roosevelt did in the 30's. It didn't work then, and we have no reason to believe that it will work now. Those advocating the President's current course of action always like to counter with 'Roosevelt didn't go far enough', I believe that he went too far. If Hoover had left things alone, if the Fed had increased the available money supply, and if Hoover didn't spark the bank panic, we might not have had the Great Depression.
